Eine neue Mission der aktuellen Seattle Reihe ist bei Battleshop oder DriveThruRPG erhältlich: Rally Cry!

Anti-metahuman sentiment has long been a hot-button issue in Seattle, and some members of the Ork Rights Committee have decided to expose one of Governor Brackhaven’s cronies for the racist they believe him to be. The only trouble is, people with a high public profile are usually very careful about keeping up appearances. If the ORC is going to support their accusations of racism, they may need some help in getting—or manufacturing—the evidence they need. That, of course, is where shadowrunners come in.

Neue Alternativregeln mit Shadowrun – The Way of the Adept

Catalyst beginnt eine neue Reihe, genannt Shadowrun Options, welche alternative Regelwerke und andere Herangehensweisen an Spielarten beinhaltet, so dass man die Art und Weise, wie man Shadowrun spielt, weiter ausbauen kann.

Das erste Buch der Reihe beginnt mit dem Buch „The Way of the Adept“. Wie der Titel schon erkennen läßt, ist dies sehr adeptenlastig, so dass man jede Menge Spaß als Fäuste schwingender oder Pistolen ziehender Adept hat.

Wie immer kann man das PDF bei Battleshop oder DrivethruRPG erwerben.

Einigen wird die Hintergrundgeschichte davon schon bekannt vorkommen, so Konzepte wie „Heimlichkeitsadept“ oder „Pistolenadept“, oder der allseits beliebte „Magieadept“. Hier wird das ganze mit einigen Regeln, wie z.B. speziellen Gaben und Ki-Kräften, unterfüttert. Das ganze ist 15 Seiten schwer, aber für die Adepten unter Euch könnte es sich lohnen!

Attitude erscheint am 27. April in gedruckter Form

Nachdem sich die PDF Version gut verkauft hat, wirft Catalyst nun auch die Printvariante von Shadowrun: Attitude auf den Markt. Das Erscheinungsdatum ist auf den 27. April datiert.

Attitude helps shadowrunners live the untethered life by giving them the lowdown on music, entertainment, sports, and other scenes where they can make their mark without selling their soul. A repository of Sixth World culture along with a treasury of new ways to run in the shadows, Attitude is an indispensable resource for all Shadowrun players.

Neue Abenteuer-Reihe „Horizons“ startet mit „A Fistful of Credsticks“

Tut mir leid dass ich diese News erst so spät bringe, habe die letzten Tage etwas vor mich hin gekränkelt.

Das neuste Abenteuer aus der Catalyst Schmiede nennt sich „A Fistful of Credsticks“ (grob übersetzt „Eine Hand voll Credsticks“). In diesem Abenteuer hat man die Chance zu erfahren, unter welchen Gegebenheiten die Sängerin Christy Daeen (wer „Attitude“ gelesen hat, der erinnert sich vielleicht daran) gestorben ist und was die wahre Geschichte dahinter ist.

PDF’s sind wie üblich bei Battleshop oder DriveThruRPG erhältlich.

Parazoology als PDF erhältlich

Erneut ist ein nur als PDF erhältliches Quellenbuch erschienen. In Parazoology werden 30 bekannte Critter des Shadowrun-Universums aktualisiert, 9 weitere Critter sind neu hinzugekommen. Viele farbige Illustrationen runden die Spielinfos zu den einzelnen Crittern ab. Die PDF’s können wie üblich bei Battleshop oder Drivethrurpg erworben werden. Eine deutsche Version ist bisher noch nicht angekündigt worden, man kann aber davon ausgehen, dass Pegasus da in den nächsten Monaten nachziehen wird. Das Dokument ist als Erweiterung zur Anniversary Version von Shadowrun 4.0 angedacht.

Shadowrun Missions: Start der Season 4

Der erste Band der neuen Shadowrun Missions Reihe ist erhältlich und trägt den Titel „Back in Business“. Erhältlich wie üblich bei Battleshop oder DriveThru, spielt die neue Kampagne endlich wieder in Seattle. Was zunächst wie ein harmloser Auftrag („findet das Mädchen“) anfängt, entwickelt sich nach und nach zu einem gefährlichen Unterfangen.

It’s a simple job: find a missing girl. Of course, nothing is ever simple in the shadows, and a whole lot of people seem to be interested in this job for one reason or another.

Welcome to Season Four of the Missions Campaign, which returns home to the Emerald Sprawl, Seattle. Biz is good as a political fight is brewing to determine the fate of the vast Ork Underground, and everyone seems to be fighting over the mysterious artifacts flowing into the city. If you’re going to get through this, remember the basics: Shoot straight, watch your back, and never, ever deal with a dragon. Oh, and collect a hefty payday along the way!

Anders als im FAQ von Missions ursprünglich genannt ist der erste Band nicht kostenlos, sondern für $3,95 zu erwerben. Begründet wird dies durch die Produktionskosten sowie der Verwendung von besserem (farbigen) Material.

It’s the side effect of amping up the amount of original art in Missions line.

Ich persönlich sehe da kein Problem, nicht alles muss immer geschenkt sein.

Elevator Ride to Hell & Harlequin’s Back… als PDF

Zwei Abenteuer werden pünktlich zum amerikanischen Thanksgiving Fest veröffentlicht:

Elevator Ride to Hell ist das letzte Abenteuer der aktuellen „Shadowrun Missions“ Reihe rund um Manhattan.

Elevator Ride to Hell concludes the Manhattan series of Missions, giving the Big Apple a dramatic sendoff. The adventure contains character stats, maps, and everything you need to plunge a group into the treacherous heart of New York. So jump on, press the “close door” button, and get ready for a ride that might hurdle clever runners to the peak of Manhattan fame—or slam them to the ground in a burning, wrecked hulk.

Langjährige Shadowrun Spieler werden sich freuen, denn Harlequin ist mal wieder zurück. Naja, kein neues Abenteuer, aber Catalyst macht sich schon länger daran, ältere Abenteuerbände als PDF neu aufzulegen. Harlequin’s Back ist eines der größten bis dato erschienen Abenteuer Bände und ist für sehr erfahrene Spielgruppen ausgelegt. Die Regeln dabei basieren jedoch auf Shadowrun 2nd Edition.

Harlequin’s Back is a big adventure for Shadowrun, Second Edition. It involves magic and mayhem on a scale beyond any published Shadowrun adventure at the time and is recommended for veteran players. (Experience with the first Harlequin adventure is helpful, but not required.)

Catalyst bringt zwei neue Shadowrun PDF’s raus

Zwei neue PDF Files wurden gestern von Catalyst veröffentlicht: „This Old Drone“ und „Food Poisoning!“.

„This Old Drone“ ist ein Dokument mit Zusatzinfos rund um 30 Dronen, die es aus älteren Editionen und Regelwerken nicht in die aktuelle vierte Edition geschafft haben. Das soll mit diesem PDF nachgeholt werden. Mit dabei ist unter anderem die Ares Sentinel „P“ Serie!
Generell sind alle Regeln und Info darin enthalten, klassische Dronen an die neuen Regeln anzupassen.

„Food Poisoning!“ ist das neueste Abenteuer in der Manhattan Serie von Missionen, und gibt Runnern die Möglichkeit, in das Geschehen im New York der sechsten Welt einzugreifen. Inhaltlich geht es darum dass SINlose Leute vergiftet werden und die Runner die Hintergründe dazu herausfinden sollen.

Beide PDF’s sind sowohl im Battleshop als auch bei Drivethrurpg erhältlich:
